The course is a 33.5 mile loop that is split up into 6 sections around 5.5 miles each. Each transfer point for the different legs will have an aid station with snacks and water at a minimum. There are numerous bathrooms and public water fountains along the course as well, many of which are identified on the map and course details packet you can view and print here for runners and relay drivers. The course will be marked with some signs and sidewalk chalk through neighborhood streets. However, we strongly suggest that you also download the online version of the map included on our website to reference during the race should you find yourself off of the assigned route.
The Course
The route will include 5 aid stations, one at each of the transfer points indicated on the route map. All aid stations will have pretzels, granola bars, and water at a minimum. A few aid stations will also include Gatorade. In an effort to reduce waste, we encourage all runners to bring reusable water bottles and/or cups. Aid stations will carry a small number of disposable cups to be used as needed.
Aid Stations
There is parking at the Red Hawk Park parking lot directly across the street from the start/finish at Dick Pond Athletics. We encourage all runners, especially relay teams, to carpool as much as possible to ensure that there is enough parking for everyone at the end of the race. If you have any questions or concerns regarding parking, please email runningisfunsometimes@gmail.com.
